Rocambolesco (fantastic, adventure) is a story about a young woman trying to avoid her drunken stepfather until she reaches the age of majority, which at that time was 21. She works in a hotel laundry that she calls home until her best friend asks her to be her maid of honor. For three years she worked seven days a week and when the hotel would not allow her to take time off for the wedding, she gets fired.
Staying with her friend’s family, she exchanges modeling pictures for suitable clothing. When her stepfather starts to ask questions, Carsenetta takes the first job that comes along taking her out of town to avoid losing her wages to the unscrupulous man.
Once more she must flee when the man starts asking questions and harassing the seamstress that provided her wardrobe. This time, she leaves the country and starts yet another adventure.

I was met with so many special laughter and crying throughout the book. I couldn't put the book down because there are so many intriguing things happening that I had to know what was all going on. There are so many surprises in the story. God is so Good throughout. This story is so well written. I just love it! Oh yeah, the title of the book deserves it.Product details

I have enjoyed reading many books by this author and I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to read more stories about the love and grace of God. It only took a few hours to read this book.
I have read all of Miss kuhnke's books. I really liked our heroine.She had spunk. Paul suited her as her hero. Thoroughly enjoyed the story and highly recommend it as good Christian romantic fiction.
I have read several books by Jean Kuhnke and have loved them. Sweet love, a stalwart young woman, trials and tribulations, what better line up? My only problem is the editing errors. A good editing would weed out patient for patience and other such errors.
Another great book by Kuhnke. I have read all her books each one I can't put down until I finish. This one a woman trying to stay away from her stepfather until she reaches 21. The places she has to go to ,the family she didn't know she had. A must read.
Love almost all of this author's books. This one will join my other favorites to be read over and over.
